This month we celebrated a decade of business. Still, this sounds incredible to us. Through conversations these past several weeks it is hard to fathom how far we have come, and grasp the volume of work produced over 10 years.
Curiosity got the better of us, so we put some numbers together. Then glanced at each other, better double check. Doubt was overtaken by bewilderment at the numbers staring us in the face.
Over 10 years we our team has grown from 1 to 6 people, consistently employed. Our client base has expanded to 35. Bearing in mind, the average contracted road infrastructure project is approximately 2 years for our services.
The average project value is $800M. There are few South East Qld and Northern NSW road infrastructure projects we have not been involved with; a stand alone endorsement and testament to the team.
Could you guess how many switchboards, traffic signal controllers, field cabinets, detector loops, footings, pits and conduits the team has inspected over 10 years?
Context The distance from Brisbane to Perth is 3,614km, the world circumference is 40,075km.
- Electrical switchboards 6,561
- Traffic Signal Controllers 14,641
- Field Cabinets 19,404
- Detector Loops 38,416 km
- Footings 205,800 @ 50m apart = 10,290 km
- Pits 960,400 @ 50m apart = 48,020 km
- Conduit 38,416 km
We congratulate our team, thank our clients, and are proud of our enduring relationships with stakeholders, friends and family. Raise glasses to the decade
