The Veloway 1 (V1) is dedicated cycleway design to connect people riding bikes between Lower River Terrace, South Brisbane, and Eight Mile Plains, adjacent to the Pacific Motorway. The 17-kilometre cycleway will provide a safe and efficient route for people travelling by bicycle. 

The V1 project has been divided into 5 stages, with 4 of these stages complete and in use. Construction on the $45 million V1 Stage E project commenced in late September 2018. V1 Stage E is the largest single package of work to date and will provide approximately 1.4 kilometres of dedicated cycleway between Birdwood Road, Holland Park West and Gaza Road, Tarragindi.

Jerana was engaged by the Contract Administrator to undertake a review of the Project delivery phase design services infrastructure and provide recommendations for the Rate 3 electrical subcontractor testing results.

The scope of the report:

• desktop analysis of test results and procedures
• assessment of the design standards and conflicting design elements assessed against TMR Specifications
• provide advice on design standards
