Wellington Street and Panorama Drive serve as essential connections for travelers and commuters from Thornlands, Redland Bay, and Mount Cotton, with significant growth anticipated in the upcoming years.

Recent enhancements to this important segment of roadway have been announced, featuring the expansion of a 2-kilometer section from two lanes to four, as well as improvements to two intersections at the junction of Panorama Drive with Ziegenfusz Road and Wellington Street.

The project included several improvements, such as the establishment of a combined cycling and pedestrian pathway extending from Boundary Road to South Street, along with the construction of a dedicated fauna underpass to safeguard local native wildlife.
